Requerimiento de idioma español

Las carreras de la Universidad de Palermo se dictan en idioma español y requieren de su conocimiento.

  1. Deberán mantener una entrevista de evaluación y prueba de suficiencia del nivel de idioma Español previo al inicio de las clases los ingresantes a todas las carreras a) provenientes de países en los que el español no es su lengua nativa, y b) todos aquellos que las autoridades de la universidad consideren que puedan no tener los conocimientos adecuado para comunicarse en lengua castellana. Esta prueba de evaluación inicial no devengará arancel.

  2. En la entrevista se evaluará la habilidad del ingresante para el manejo del idioma español, tal que permita: a) leer y comprender plenamente textos en ese idioma, y b) comunicarse fluidamente en forma escrita y oral.

  3. Si el ingresante no supera el nivel de idioma requerido, la universidad podrá rechazar su admisión.

  4. En determinados casos la universidad condicionará el ingreso a realizar un curso de Español simultáneamente a los cursos de la carrera elegida. Este curso será arancelado. Para más información contactarse con el Departamento de Informes e Inscripción informes@palermo.edu

Cursos de Español

Los cursos de Español son arancelados y sólo pueden tomarse si el alumno está inscripto a una carrera de grado/posgrado. Los aranceles los pueden consultar en el Departamentos de Informes.

Test de nivel de Español

Inscripción: El test de nivel no devengará arancel. Inscripción obligatoria al test por Sistema de Alumnos hasta las 18 hrs. del dia hábil anterior.
All assignments are dictated in Spanish, therefore, students are required to speak, read and write in Spanish.
Students will have to pass an evaluation interview as a sufficiency language test prior to the begging of classes. New students, of all majors, coming from countries where Spanish is not a first language, and all whose Spanish knowledge is considered not sufficient by university authorities will have to pass a level test.
During the interview, the skills evaluated will be reading and comprehension, as well as oral and written communication.
If the student does not pass the language requirement the university can decline the student’s admission.
In certain circumstances the university can condition the students entrance by ordering a mandatory Spanish course concurrent to the rest of the chosen assignments. The course’s fee will be bourn by the student. For more information, please write to informes@palermo.edu

Spanish courses

All Spanish courses are rated and can only be taken by students that are enrolled to the curricula.
To find out when classes start, consult the academic calendar of the Facultad de Ciencias Sociales.
In accordance with the academic rules and regulations, the students whose mother tongue is NOT Spanish are required to take the Spanish placement test and:

  1. If they pass Spanish III, they must take the final exam in May and they can take undergraduate/graduate courses;

  2. If they pass Spanish II, they must attend Spanish III. Simultaneously, they can take undergraduate/graduate courses

  3. If they pass Spanish I, they must attend Spanish II. They are NOT allowed to take undergraduate/graduate courses.

  4. Please check tuition fees with the Admissions Department. Please note that you can only take Spanish if you register for an undergraduate/graduate course.

Spanish level test

The test is free of charge. Mandatory on-line registration until 6:00 p.m. of the previous business day.
